It's Not Funny
I found “Amy’s” article “It’s Not Funny” extremely moving because she was brave enough to write it after her tragic experience. Many people speak without thinking. They use words as slang, but they do not think of the actual meaning of the word. It seems like Calvin did not mean to offend “Amy,” but his choice of words still upset her. I understand why “Amy” was upset because I have heard people speak like the boys, and it disgusts me. Thank you “Amy” for sharing your experience and bravery with us.
