Captive Killer Whales
I found Melissa S.'s article "Captive Killer Whales" extremely moving. I have been to Seaworld several times but I never thought about how the killer whales felt. I have never seen the whales enclosure and had no idea that their tanks were so small. "When these animals are taken into captivity, they cab become very hostile, depressed, and even suicidal." I had no idea animals could become depressed or even suicidal, and I think that it is horrible that they are being kept in conditions that make them feel this way. I agree with Melissa that these animals should be freed. Thank you, Melissa for showing me how these animals truly feel.
