The Worst Things About Bullying
“The Worst Thing About Bullying” by Rachel C is about a girl who thinks she has true “friends” but realizes they are fakes. I know how she feels.
I know how Rachel feels, because I have been bullied so many times by people who I thought were my “friends.” If I could go back in time to when I was in fights with them, or when they were mean to me, I would would have just simply told it to them straight, that they need to “leave me alone” instead of crying, or eating my lunch in the Guidance Counselor’s room during lunchtime, trying to hide from my fears. At the end of the poem, when Rachel wrote, and I quote, “The Worst Thing About Bullying Is That They Were My Friends,” REALLY made me feel the pain of being bullied by so-called friends. The words I ALWAYS live by are: Stand Up To Bullies, Love Yourself, and No Matter What People Say: Always Be Yourself! <3 Never trust anyone, because they could suddenly change when you least expect it!
