how i became an athlete
I enjoyed reading “How I Became An Athlete” by Raymond P because I play baseball and one time I played right field and I missed a lot of pop flies to hit to me also. I wasn't very good either but after one summer I really practiced and practiced and tried my hardest to get better. Finally, I gained the confidence to become a good baseball player and then I read this and I really saw my self in his shoes but we matched and we both ended up catching the ball in right field. My team was also really good but I wasn't the best player on the team. And he said he wasn't very good but he gained confidence quicker than me. When he said “a good right fielder would know what to do even if he had to run, even if he had to sprint, even if he had to dive he would do it the only problem was we didn't have a good right fielder, we had me.” I thought that was cool because this is how I felt before, too.
