How I Became an Athlete
In the article "How I Became an Athlete" by Raymond Pomponio, I felt a connection built between the writer and myself. When I first started baseball, I was the worst in the league. I led the team in strikeouts, lowest batting average, and most tears, but as the seasons racked up so did my skill. After three years of little league, I found myself leading the league in both batting and pitching, but if that isn't enough I now play for the varsity squad. I went from being the worst player in little league history to a dominant force on the pitcher's mound. All I can say is adversity creates champions
