Women Who Rock MAG
You rock, Anjali, with your article “Women Who Rock,” and how you show that women can dominate the alternative side of the music industry.
As a female drummer, I too understand how it feels to be compared to men or to be seen as some novelty item. I also hate how people stereotype women as those who “are supposed to selflessly nurture their children and be supportive wives.” “Confident girls you do not want to mess with” sums up the rising ranks of female rockers.
Thank you, Anjali, for putting the spotlight on female musicians. I wish the best of luck to you and your band.
