Plastic Perfection
"plastic Perfection" by Cheryl Gray is an extremely disturbing story about most girls childhood Barbie Doll. I admit that when I was younger I admired Barbie. I wanted to be just like her. I didn't know in order to be her I had to have a 20 inch waist. The article focuses on how some girls strive to be that small and cause them to hurt themself in the process to achieve this unhealthy figure. It is sad to imagine so many beautiful, young girls follow their role model, Barbie's, footsteps.
