"Why I Don't Go into Churches" Review
In “Why I Don’t Go into Churches” by Dew Wagner in the September 11 issue, the speaker asks where his sins go and where he will go when or if his life ends. He doesn’t like thinking of these questions, explaining why he doesn’t go to church.
I agree with Wagner’s poem. I too do not go to church all that often because I do not like thinking of such serious questions or thinking of where I’m going when I die. Of course I could read the Bible, but it still would not give me confirmation on where after-life is, how it works, and how to get in to heaven. I do not think I’m a bad person, even though everyone sins, but it can be frustrating wondering when I or anyone will know how religion and heaven will be like.
