"Am I Cain?"
The story “Am I Cain” is really special to me. I appreciate this story and can relate to it in so many ways. When I was first diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome and OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), my family had no idea what it was or how to handle it. My parents eventually got used to it, but my sister never did. She thought it was her fault. She used to scream and me and hit me because she couldn’t sleep from my ticks because of my Tourettes or I would interrupted her to ask her something because of my OCD. She never understood what it was like to be diagnosed with these things and would tell me to use self control, which was obviously no longer an option because of these things.
Congrats to Emma Woods for writing and sharing this touching story. I also feel better now that there is someone who I can relate to.
