The writing titled “The Anxiety I Carry”, written by Amy, talks about anxiety. Her writing left me feeling in understanding. In “The Anxiety I Carry”, the author writes about how anxiety made her feel when presenting in front of a class. She describes how anxiety made her lose sleep and have an upset stomach. The article says, “And if, in the days leading up to my presentation, I lost sleep, worrying about the quality of my assignment. If I didn’t eat, because the nausea roiling in my stomach was too much? At the end of the article the author wrote about how she was starting to overcome some of the anxiety. The author wrote, “I’m still a small, anxious mess if there ever was one, but I'm improving anxious mess, and that's what matters.”
