Legalized Marijuana Could Mean Disaster
The writing titled Legalized Marijuana Could Mean Disaster written by “Chris”, talks about why marijuana is not good for anyone and why it should not be legalized in every state. His writing left me feeling surprised and also interested. The state of California legalized marijuana, and ever since then it boosted the economy. Chris, who wrote the article, was a chronic user of marijuana. This changed his life. In the article he says, “Everything changed for me when I went into a marijuana induced state of psychosis. For nearly twenty-four hours, I had no control over my body.” When I read this in the article I couldn’t believe that Chris didn’t have any control over his body for twenty-four hours, that is a whole day. He later goes on to say, “I saw the world around me condense into a single molecule. I thought to myself: This is my death.” When I read this, I agreed with him one hundred percent because when people take this drug it changes their world upside down. I agree with Chris, that marijuana should not be legalized in every state because it will turn out to be disastrous.
