Body Language
I found Emma S.'s article, "Body Language" extremely moving because this girl was trying to be nice to the new girl in class and she responded with a rude comment. The new girl stated "You're fat." and that small comment left a scar in her and made her more insecure. It only took one word to make her want to harm herself and made her want to apologize to her friends for being herself. However, her instructor told her that she doesn't need to apologize for being herself and helped her relieve the pain she had gotten used to. Thank you, Emma for writing about this sensitive topic that is rarely talked about in every day life.
