Body language
I found Emma S.’s article, “Body Language” extremely moving. I agree with her that, it’s not right to make someone feel less about themselves because of their physical appearance. Getting called names doesn’t seem as bad; however, it can affect a person for life. As she said “One word. All it took was one word...and everything changed. My insecurities grew and became a heavy burden”. Getting called fat is hard especially for someone who might have a low self esteem. I Think everyone should respect each other and not judge. You don’t know what that person might be going through. If you aren’t going to say something nice, than just don’t say it at all. Thank you Emma for addressing this topic, many people might be going through this and it can be extremely helpful.
