Body Language
I found Emma S.'s article, "Body Language" extremely relatable to anyone that suffers from insecurities. As a High School teenager, I have seen many people at my school go through similar situations, including myself. In reality, at this age we are just trying to find ourselves, so when someone else calls out a non-appealing feature, it creates a permanent scar on how we feel about ourselves. In this article Emma explains that "all it took was one word...and everything changed". Comments that other people say, truely effect us no matter who it is. Thank you, Emma, for sharing this situation that is so relatable, yet so hard to open up about.
