“Dress to Impress,” written by the author, Cooper G., talks about the dress codes at school. His writing left me feeling understandable. I definitely agree with what Cooper said in his article. I relate to what he said. Although, I am a little surprised that he wrote about this topic because most boys don’t ever care about the dress code since it mainly goes for girls. In paragraph one Green stated,”It was -- and is -- a different story for girls though, ad recently my sister, Charlie’s experience made me question not only whether or not the dress code is right, but also whether the dress code is especially unfair to girls.” Cooper also claimed, ”As a boy, I took the dress code in stride because it didn’t affect me, but as I witness my younger sister struggling with it on a daily basis, I wonder whether it treats boys and girl equally. The next time I encounter a rule, whether or not it directly applies to me, I will stop and think how it may affect others.”
