Response to A Gripping Fear of Pencils
The writing titled “A Gripping Fear of Pencils,” written by Alexis K, talks about wanting to write but also being scared too. Her writing made me feel sad, but also thrilled at the same time.
The selection “A gripping Fear of Pencils” is a great selection that I very much agree with. One example that I agree with in the text is when the author wrote, “An absolute masochist for writer’s cramp.” This example is something I agree with because I love writing, and even when I get hand cramps I keep writing. Something else that I agree with in the selection is when the author writes, “The night before the first draft was due, I deleted them all.” I have done this many of times when I write, and the day before it is due I delete everything because I think the writing is not good enough. Those are two of the reasons that I agree with this selection.
