Darkness

"No." That was my most used word. The answer to the following questions, are you going to get up today, would you like to go to the store, and are you feeling any better. Depression was an awful experience like someone had wrapped me in darkness after kicking me to the curb. My muscles hurt and I no longer felt like crying. BUT I SURVIVED. Slowly the light filled my atmosphere and the darkness slowly faded. Even though I know the darkness is still there waiting for me to crumble once again, I remember that the light never stopped trying to shine down on me. The light never gave up hope that I would break the thick blanket of Darkness.
