The Journey:
The Journey:
You can bruise me,
Because I like to heal.
You can set me on fire,
Because I like the heat.
You can slit me all over,
Because I like the sting.
You can strain my heart,
Because I like the tension.
You can set me up,
Because I like the dare.
You can knock me down,
Because I like to get back up again.
You can beat me up,
Because I like the fight.
You can weight me down with burdens,
Because it gives me strength.
You can starve me,
Because it makes everything taste better.
You can leave me,
Because I like the Journey back.
A journey teaches me lessons.
Lesson such as gratefulness,
Love and care.
It teaches me to be strong.
Then comes strength.
Strength makes me taller.
Strength makes me better.
Strength makes me smarter.
But more than anything,
It gives me hope.
Hope that keeps me alive,
So hit me with your best shot.
