Lost Sister
When I was 10 my sister was born and already half alone. Her dad left with no reason. For me, mom was my favorite parent a woman above any other she supplied the perfect combination of love and comfort. As time went on her true colors shined, she wasn't as perfect as we thought. Drugs had a tight grip on her waist, pulling her to new lows the family never knew. A baby child is forgotten at the neighbor's house for days or weeks at a time, in the beginning, shifted to hiding in the closet with her 10-year-old as the cops rip apart the house looking for her. My dad saved me from the path my mom was traveling down but my sister had no one but her. Now she is in foster care with two sisters loving each day free from the assumptions of her or what the future holds for her. She is loved like she should be.

I have wanted my stories to be known for years and teenInk can be the one place where I can get them out there in the world.
