Love or Obsession
She waited until he was posed for the fish eyes to focus on him. She stared inside the two circles she put in front of her face. To her, it looked like a kaleidoscope with her prey in the middle. His smooth, bulky abs stared right back at her. She remembered when those abs were her’s. She remembered being embraced by the strength of his core. But he walked away from his window and she thought: It must be my lucky day. I knew it was a good idea to wear his sweater. And she jumped up when she heard knocks on her front door. It was him, she knew it was him. All this time waiting and staring through the window paid off finally. She calmed herself down to make it look like she wasn’t expecting him. Play it cool, ya know. Just like that, she was in her dreams. Back with him, staring at him just feet away through the door.
“Christina Adams, your under arrest for violating the restraining order Mr. Stevens placed against you.”
