Couple Whimsies 2
I considered becoming an alcoholic so that I could join alcoholics anonymous for the companionship. It seems like something you carry with you all your life, like a tribe, somewhere where you'll always belong. Now, as my days get lonelier, the option seems like less of a joke and more of an up and coming reality.
It is something you are your whole life, you get chips at certain milestones, you can talk in a support group about your problems and they really care. Then I realised how silly I was being, they probably wouldn't listen to problems outside the vicinity of alcohol and such. I suppose I will have to just pay someone to listen to my problems, a therapist or a hairdresser. I don't need a haircut...
