Our Story
Our Story Part 1 (Her POV)
Meeting Each Other
I didn't think we'd be together. Considering we are polar opposites at times. At the same time, she didn't think she'd do a lot of things last and this year. I guess that's how funny life can be at times. I met him over nine months ago. It's still fresh in my mind. Before the track meet and during. Walking in my too short track shorts and messed up Wekiva shirt, I walked towards my first race having too many things on my mind. Boys and girls were running. I came next this guy. Somehow he smiled at me wanting to strike a conversation. I looked down. "Is there something on me? Why is he talking to me?" I thought. I guess he was trying to calm me down. Noticing I was really really shaken up. After me bombing the race, the guy insisted on talking to me, even though I was alone. He talked to me, even though I was being weird and goofy. I kept in mind that he was any other guy, which meant I needed to keep my guard down. We kept hanging out all night laughing and talking. Being "cuffed" as everyone said. At the end of the night, we went home, a couple of days later, he asked me out. I didn't think one person could affect my life so much. This was just the beginning.
