Continuum
I’ve felt this way a thousand times before, but this time I hope it lasts forever. Quickening of my heartbeat, shortness of breath and blurring vision- as if I was dying. But if this is what it feels like to love you, then I could die forever. I’ve read this story a thousand times before, but I wish I could rewrite it. If rewriting it would make you stay, I would keep my pen in hand forever. Because, I don’t want it to end like it has a thousand times before. Yet it is going in the same direction, at the same speed, in the same way. I don’t know if I have the strength to walk away-to change it. But if walking away would bring us together in a way that wouldn’t end like a thousand times before….I would run. Forever, I would run.
