My knight
He chased the bad memories away, he made them leave for awhile but soon enough every numbing cream wears away. He puts a smile on my face but inside I rot from the gaping hole. I know he was just a shield against the sword but it turned out good. Instead of a shield he became my knight and the hole healed a little more every time he smiled. I thought that I would never go back to me but instead I came back better than I have ever been. He is so peculiar, just the way he acts and speaks it’s kind and gentle, like he knows what I’m dealing with. He treats me with respect, instead of walking all over me ,he walks with me. At first I thought it would never work but over time it set perfectly, just like a two puzzle pieces. I guess I was trying to fit two puzzle pieces that didn’t fit but by mistake I fit two other pieces and they fit perfect. I found that even after gruesome times extraordinary things can come out of it.
