War Within Us
It's one of those nights, screaming, fighting, hatred from within just exploding. Venom coming from our mouths, we can't stop it. God why can't we stop. Hes stubborn, but he's not alone. You'd swear we were enemies by the way we were recreating our hidden thoughts.
Never in my life did I see us like this. We were perfectly fine, we are your average couple. We loved each other. Now, all you see is two opposite people. Trust issues, anxiety, words, everything was fueling us. I wanna kill him out of spite, but I wanna feel his touch beneath my neck. We need each other but we are too scared to admit it.
The throwing of vases, the burning of each others clothes, the crying out of anger. Needless to say we are toxic. We've been through too much to just throw away and waste.. This is exactly what my mom warned me about, but if you don't fight, you don't understand each other much.. right? Maybe we will get through this. Its just a figment of my imagination.
He's quiet, his silence scares me. Just say something, Jesus Christ! Speak your mind, mutt. Let's finish this for the last time. Let's get all of this over with. I wanna go back to the loving, caring, dream couple everyone wished they had.
Maybe one day..
