Flower Girl
On a street all where all the houses are beige, but the bright blue one on the end, a girl in her front yard is on her hands and knees watering her flowers. Her home has colored sea glass hanging from strings on the porch. While the other homes had almost dead anemone in there yards she has zestful birds of paradise and bouvardia double. She sat in her yard in the mornings taking in the world while the others in her neighborhood stayed inside and slept till they absolutely had to get up. Her name was Nova Statice, she loved the world, she loved her friends, she loved her home. Even if her neighbors thought she was far too old to look forward to what might happen in the next days, she loved them too.
