spooky story
Spooky story
Do you believe in creatures of the night?
welcome to Werewolf Lake, read the sign. Hmm, ware wolf lake? I wonder what this place is like”, James thought to himself as the car passed the front gates.
It was dark, and the moon lit up the sky. The steam off the lake created a mist that danced lightly across the top of the glossy water. The car slowly crept up the dirt road. The car was silent, no one was speaking. The only noise that could be heard was the gravel crunching as the tires rolled along the long dirt road. “We're here” said Franklin’s mother as they pulled up to the main house. Franklin jumped out of the car, “finally!” He exclaimed as he headed to the trunk of the car to unload their stuff. After a brief introduction with the main house keeper, The boys grabbed their bags and said goodbye to Franklin’s mother. As the mother pulled away James couldn’t help but hear the howling sound of a wolf in the night air . Let's go! exclaimed Franklin as he ran up to the main house “Wait for me!” yelled James as he chased after Franklin.
The boys climbed the front porch steps leading to the main house. Isn’t this awesome? Asked Franklin. “Its Creepy”, replied James. “creek crack crrr” went the porch As the boys ran up the steps. James yelled, “ slow down!” “Crash! Bang!” Suddenly Franklin fell through the steps. They realize his leg is broke.
Franklins mom was already gone, and the main housekeeper was nowhere to be found. James ran up to the door, and began ban-ging on it screaming, “help! help!” After repeated attempts to call for help, mysteriously no one is answering. In desperation, James run down the steps and around the house trying to find a way in. He finds a crawl space behind the house. James hears a blood curdling scream from Franklin, and crawls down the crawl space as fast as he can. Franklin was nowhere to be found.Stunned and terrified, James was frozen with fear and concern for his friend. He begins to weep; “what do I do? Where do I go?” When he hears the sound of something dripping, he leans his hand against the wall, and instantly pulls it. “Ewe, What was that?” as he shook his hand off. Looking down at his hand, he realizes that it’s . James calls out to Franklin once again, when he hears a distinct growling sound coming from straight ahead of him. He looks up and sees a set of bright red, glowing eyes. Overcome with fear James bolds out of the crawl space and on to the road, never to be seen again.
