Beep! Beep! Beep! That's what sound I heard while waking up to the most humiliating day of my life. By the way I'm Harper Whitt, aka star. People call me star because they believe I have star quality, Just kidding, that's my middle name. While hating my life, I have 2 older brothers and another coming on the way with my mom and her 4th husband. To add on to my worst life, I live in a crappy town where no shopping malls are at, do you know how hard it is to not shop when your 15 years old, it's a crime! The only good part about my life is we are so rich!

"Harper it's time for school, could you get your brothers."

" Mom, could you get them. I'm dealing with a crisis. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO WHERE!
" Why don't you not take off your mask today no one wants to look at what's under it."

"Shut up Brendon. Mom but seriously what do I where?"
"Honey I don't know but you have 10 minutes to hurry your butt along."

"Alright everyone in the car it's time to go." the horrible step father I have.

While on the ride to school I saw that my favorite jeans had a rip in the back to where you could see my under were, plus Tommy saw it(older older brother).
"Looks like someone has a rip in their pants, looks like pay back sucks. Remember when you let out my put rabbit, well ha."

OMG! Once I got out of the car to the ride school I ran to the Bathroom and waited for Kayla(best friend) to get her with her pants. Before she got here I saw Gwen and her followers come in the bath room. I had to think quick so I hid in one of the stalls. All I could her was the sounds of them throwing up, like they usually do in the girls bathroom. Once they left I heard a voice calling my name I look around and finally saw Kayla looking under the stall.
"Hey, so I got you some pants. They may be too big and really ugly, but I bet you can pull it off."

"Thanks for the sarcasm, but I don't think I can."
DING! DING! DING!
" Oh no! Its first period, and I haven't even put on my pants."

"Hurry!"

As I slipped on the pants as fast as I could I fell and put my hand in the toilet. I thought to myself EWWW, but there was no time for me to freak out so I quickly dried it off and ran out the door to 1st period.

As Mr. Blab Handed out the assignment for today, a announcement went on over the intercom.
"Good Moring fellow students, and welcome to another fabulous day at SSHS. Today stop by the office and purchase your tickets to the dance next week. Reminder: for a couple its $80 dollars, and for 1 its $45 dollars. In other news......."

It went on and on and on, I thought it would never end until......

" Can we please have Harper Whitt please come to the office they have your non-hole ripped jeans, Harper Whitt please come to the office."

I thought I would die of embracement, but no one was laughing at me instead they just looked at me funny, and some even giggled. But that was not the Worst part. My mom is a lawyer and whenever she's off work she comes to places dressed in her pajamas and he bunny slippers.

"Hey Harper what's up. What's going on."
"Mom are you drunk, cause your acting weird."


"No just a little drink nothing big, well here's your pants bye."

I knew she was drunk but I couldn't stop, I was at school what was I supposed to say, "Stop come sit in my classroom with me." No I could not do anything. It was out of my hands.

Later in 6th period, after lunch, I thought could something actually happen to my mom, what if she got in a car accident because she was drinking, or she got sent to jail for drinking and driving. I thought my final thought before the bell rang for 7th period. What if she's dead.
DING! DING! DING!

The bell rang for 6th period to be over. As I was walking to my Mr. Dwyer's History class. I tripped and ran into a locker, so people laughed others came to my rescue, including Kayla. When I was sitting in my seat I blanked out and I couldn't focus on anything. I didn't even hear my teacher call my name. Finally Kayla taped my shoulder and said wake up. All I could focus on was my mom and if she's dead.
DING! DING! DING!

The day was finally over. I raced to my brother's car and said drive fast. But of course, if you have a brother you know what he did.
"Drive Brendon, DRIVE!"

"Oh look let's take the long way. Oh look! there's a detour!."
"Ughhhh!" I thought to myself I'm so getting him back for this.

We finally got home after 20 minutes of torture. I Quickly raced inside, and yelled to my mother. Luckily she was laying on the couch watching her favorite cartoon. I could tell something was wrong. But what.

After we ate dinner and cleaned the dishes, she was still drinking. Since my step dad left to go do business in Guam, my mom has been sad. I sat down with my mom and started talking to her. After an hour of talking about nonsense, she finally spilled the beans.

" Ken, left me for a more prettier woman, someone 20 and not 39. At least that's what he said."
" Oh. I'm sorry mom, I knew you liked him more than the other guys you have married."

"You can't tell no one Harper. PLEASE!"
"Alright, Alright. Just don't punish yourself like last time. I'm going to bed mom, got a big test tomorrow."

"Goodnight. Love you"
"Love you to."

When I went upstairs I heard a girl voice and not mine. It was coming from the computer room was. I went to go inspect and found Gwen and my brother Caleb sitting with her. Caleb found me and rushed for the door to what I thought he was going to say get away, but said hey sis. Then the worst happened.

"Hey bestie. I didn't know that Caleb was your brother. I learn every day."
" Cool. So I'm going to go and brush my teeth and go to bed so bye."

"Harper please don't tell mom I don't want her to know now because of her situation."
" You know. But how."

"I heard you guys talking and over listened."
"Fine. But don't put her in my life, please."

I thought wow, Caleb is actually smart. I walked in my room and fell in on my bed and went to sleep.

I woke up with a cramp in my neck and in my leg. I looked at my watch and it read 7:00. I missed my ride. I hurried up and put on a skirt and my favorite shirt .I ran to get my bike out of the garage and put on my helmet. I opened the garage and found my mother standing in the middle of the way. Then I remembered it was Saturday.
" What are you doing?"

"Nothing."
"Get back in the house and go to sleep please."

"Ok."

I was embraced because I saw that I could see my bra under the shirt, but kind of relived I didn't go to school.

It was already Monday, but I wasn't ready to go back quite yet. I tried to think of an excuse not to go to school but I didn't think of a good enough reason. I finally got out of bed and got dressed. After I was ready I climb in the car and waited for my brother. Finally Caleb came and started the car.
"Caleb, why are you driving the car."

He didn't say a word, he just stared at me and said
" Look what you did. Mom went somewhere now, we can't find her and now all we got is us, thanks."

" How is this my fault."
"Cause she was never going to run away until you told her."

"What are you talking about."
" You were asleep and you came downstairs and said you ruined my life. Do everyone a favor and just leave."

"But..I..."
"Just save it Harper now we have no mom and now we have Brendon, that's all."
