The Past Hurts More The Second Time

She closes her eyes, shielding herself from the hurt and pain that lies ahead. She opens them, turning backwards, thinking nothing gonna happen. Then all of the past crashes and explodes on to her, bringing her to the ground. She thought looking forward would crush her, but looking back at all the pain and everything killed her soul again, right after she got better. Now she is just wishing she looked ahead instead of going back to all her past and torture.
