You Thought Wrong
Jenny received a call; it was her ex-husband's mother. Sue said that Jim's in the hospital. Jenny gives Sue comforting words, then hangs up. Jenny didn't like or care about Jim, but she felt bad for Sue. While Jenny's at Charlie's with friends, Jim's sister calls.
Frantic, she says Jim's heart's failing. Jenny looks down and says she'll be there. She continues eating because, she felt no sympathy for him. Later she received a call from Jim's lawyer saying Jim died and left her all his possessions.
She smiled, but Jenny isn't Jennifer.
