The Girl by the Bricks.
The Girl By The Bricks.
That's what everybody calls her.
Nobody knows how she got here. She was just...there. I know her,but nobody else does at Koggly Private School for Young Ladies.
Some people say that she was found there as a baby, wrapped in linen and layed in a wicker basket, a note pinned to the blanket. Others think that she was found half dead, starving, and beaten. Then, she told us that she was found half dead, but not beaten. She was bitten, multiple times, by her father's attack dog. Her father- she doesn't remember his name- would realse the attack dog on her whenever she was being bad.
So, when she couldn't take it anymore, she stole all of his money. And she ran.
She ran away from the abuse, and the terrible things that kept happening to her. She bought a plane ticket to London, and gave the rest of the cash to a homelss man, hoping that he'll use it for good.
Nobody knows her, the Girl by The Bricks.
She's always alone, and never leaves her dorm after calsses, except for dinner.
Nobody knows her.
But I do. You see, the Girl by The Bricks that everybody talks about?
She's me.
