The Paper Cup
It was an accident. Parker didn't know my brother was running in he middle of the field when he pulled the trigger. All I can do is stare, cry and tell him everything is okay. That everything will be fine. My brother's blood is steaming out of him, like a paper cup filled with water, but with holes in the bottom. I scream out into the open field, pleading for someone to come help. Hoping that someone will hear my cry to help me save my brother's life. No response. I look down at my brother one more time and see his eyes shut. I felt his arm, no pulse. Just like how the water runs out of the paper cup, my brother's life ran out.
