Stings
Some things sting and hurt because they're not supposed to be there, like a bee sting. Other things sting and hurt because they're supposed to be there, like alcohol in an open wound. It makes the wound sterile so it will not be infected in the future. The alcohol may hurt at first, but it's worthwhile. Heartache is for the heart almost like aclohol is for a wound. The heartache may hurt until it makes you want to cry out, but in the long run it pays off. See, after a whole lot of heartache, when you find the right person, it makes you heart feel that much stronger. So just remember that when he takes your heart and rips into tiny little shreds, he's just another northern star leading you to the right heart. It all pays off in the end.
