August 2022 Fiction Contest: Black and White
"Water can be both black and white. The white is when it snows. In the trail of snowflakes, happiness lingers through the air,giving joy to anyone walking through the snow. Water can also be black. Ever heard of black ice? It's deadly, freezing on the pavement in front of you, making everyone slip. You should always be careful of black ice. It’s not as safe as white snowflakes," Father warns. Then he pauses. "But don't see the world in only black and white, my cupcake, as the snowflakes gather to become black ice and black ice…isn't black at all."
Don't only see everything in black and white. Sometimes, things could be a bit gray...
