If I was mayor of my town
If I were mayor of my town two of the issue I would address would be overdevelopment and the budget .
I would address the overdevelopment of commercial warehouses and residential homes. This has lead to problems with traffic management. This has also produced over crowded schools. The fast paced construction of new homes is creating a rising population. The town is unable to keep up with the demands of public services such as the police force.
This can also strain the budget because the more jobs that are coming in means more family's move in and then the schools are overcrowded and the government doesn't give the school enough money to support all of the clubs and activities that school wants to do. Although the school has fundraisers for the students to do , many either can't or simply don't want to. The students that do the fundraisers aren't enough to support the whole school so many of the activities the school wants to do have to be cut.
All of these issues are tied together because if we are building to many commercial warehouses there is more jobs available although that is a good thing , our small town can't support all of the families that are coming into the town. With all of the new families moving in this is straining to schools budget. This can also lead to traffic problems with going to work or even dropping their children off at school. With all of these issues this also means there isn't going to be enough first responders like police ,firefighters , ems.
