Dweeps Of Andaman
It is worth its weight in gold to visit the once backward islands of Andaman and Nicobar, where Indian freedom fighters face untold and cruel hardships at the hands of British rulers between 1947. It was a very beautiful place to explore especially in the monsoons with the blooming of the flowers and appearing of the sky fall. It was thumbs up for a visit to the Andaman’s islands in the Bay of Bengal. All at the home agreed that we must explore the islands. The Japanese had occupied the islands from 1942 to 1945. They used the widespread region to house their prisoners of war. The Japanese quit the island in 1945 following their surrenders after dropping the atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Thereafter the British troops marched on these islands taking the control from Japanese. Nearly it took two hours form the Chennai airport to the Port Blair, going by ships requires about two days and three hours (50 hours). The brief and learning history of Andaman and Nicobar islands remind us the freedom wars and describes how it transformed into modern Andaman and a perfect choice in the midst of water all around. Each and every year island face new visitors were some are from foreign countries or country men of same Modified India.
A total 556 emerald islands, islets and rocks constitute the Andaman and Nicobar Island. The islands were declared a union territory in November 1956. During the colonial rule, the islands were home to hardened criminals and revolutionaries who posed a danger to colonial government. In fact it was termed as most danger zone in water. The prisoners were not allowed to return back to hometowns after they had completed their jail term. A strict watch was kept on them. They were even forced to settle down here and ask to raise families. The islands were therefore called ‘Kala Pani’ (black waters). The aim of British is to settle colonies here due to which they can use laborers and peasants to run their trade and to keep out missionaries and criminals out of the Andaman and Nicobar islands. Today we come to witness past and future here. The war has widened the gap here but people live here as one. And an abandoned, barren island has become chilling place for many people all over the world in vacation this place is full of cheeriness some people often called it as ‘Vacationing Digest’. Nowadays Andaman and Nicobar Islands provide wide facilities of world heritage window and gain love along with millions of dream with best world heritage site in India.
