Kissing the Rain
The rain felt so nice. She could stand in it all day. As the rain soaked her clothes and tangled her hair, a chill of pleasure ran up her spine. The rain helped her forget her past, not worry about the future; it washed it all away. She was cleansed from the dirt of the world, and she was thrilled. Wait, not thrilled... just happy. A simple happiness. She plopped down in the middle of a puddle. She didn't care that her brand new jeans were getting filthy, or that her fingers were growing numb from the cold. Her happiness warmed her body. She lifted her face up to the sky as if to let the rain caress it. Yes, that was it... kissing the rain, that's what made her happy
