Winter my frenemy
It’s a cold, snowy night and you have just the right amount of clothes on to keep you warm while you walk your dogs. You have the uncomfortable feeling of thick, tight clothing and you look like a snowman, but in a weird way makes you eager to go outside. Winter is my enemy, but I'm trying my best to be my friend. Winter loves to reel me in with night time walks with my dogs every day at the same time. It’s the time of day where nobody is out on the roads, everybody is inside and the only thing you can hear is your breath. Snow is known to absorb sound, I think that's winter's way of telling me it is a powerful season, but also has a comforting side. Winter must know I hate the dark because everytime the sky is black the moon highlights the snow for me to see. It's the most reassuring feeling to know that you are on the right path. Winter is like a blizzard of kindness to me. Although I do hate winter, I have this weird sense it doesn't hate me.
