There once was a girl named Daffodil. Her parents named her this because her hair was the color of blossoming Daffodils in spring. She was a strange girl - she liked to drink sunlight. 

“You can’t drink sunlight!” people told her disapprovingly, but Daffodil just shook her head and laughed. Sunlight tasted like honey and lemon cakes and orange juice in the morning. It filled her up until she was glowing, and her entire body radiated light.

Nobody understood her - but she didn’t care. She stood in her garden and drank sunlight, content to do so for the rest of her life.
