Gravity
It ALL makes sense: The heaviness in my heart belongs to gravity.
So is it the world that holds me back?
The universe cradles life in its hands: kittens in a blanket.
And these hands work daily and nightly to save everything from it.
When lost to my own mind, I tend to treat the trees as friends.
But how the trees think of me, is far off from my own thoughts.
What can I do, as a traveler, when the trees turns hostile?
You can’t fight the way of nature, it’s not possible.
Go row the boat to safer grounds.
The ocean stands, so fierce and vile.
The skies open wide and there’s no place to hide.
And now drown, my child. You can’t run from the sea.
When my feet pound against the grass,
I feel like I’m flying and free from
whatever will cross my path.
But the wolf can wear the trees as a perfect disguise.
Now drawn, my child.
The angels can’t help you now.
Don’t frown so loud.
The forest won’t bother to hear you.
This bit of writing contains a secret message in the bolded words..
