Hallucinations
As I was running through the trees I tripped and the animal lunged over me ready to feast on my skin. I screamed as the wolf was an inch away from my flesh and that’s when I woke up. I sat up and I felt sweat trickling down my forehead. I got out of bed and stretched my arms as I walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Just then I heard a growl and I turned around, there was no one there. I kept walking, a little faster now. I got to the bathroom and I walked inside. I splashed my face with water and looked at myself in the mirror. I thought I saw a scratch as if from a wolf. I blinked and the scar disappeared. I figured I was still really tired from last night. I was up until midnight watching the New Year’s ball drop. I blinked again and I thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye as I dried my face. I gargled the mouth wash and spit it out. For a moment I thought it was red, like blood. I blinked and then it was blue again. I put the tooth paste on the brush when I thought it was green, like moss. I blinked again and it was white, I brushed and after that I walked back to my room. I made my bed and picked out my outfit for the day. I kept wondering what would happen tonight in my sleep. I have never had hallucinations before. After I changed I walked downstairs and there was a note on the fridge. It was from my mom and it said that she went out food shopping and that she would be home soon. My dad was probably at work, like always. After that the hallucinations stopped. My day was normal, until I went back to sleep that night. My dream picked up from where it left off. As the wolf was about to eat my flesh an arrow was shot through its head. I sat up and shoved the wolf aside as a Native American man helped me up. I sure do have strange dreams.
