I'm Not Kidding
I was late today because when I was coming to school today, my bus was attacked by pirates. They hijacked the bus and drove it to a space station in California. We boarded a space ship and rocketed up into space. As soon as we broke through the atmosphere, the pirates exploded. I parachuted back to earth and landed in a forest in Colorado. I started hiking towards the nearest town when I was jumped by a lion! He pinned me to the ground and started biting my face, but I kicked him off me and punched him in the face. I ran from that lion as fast as I could. When I got to the town, (Thank goodness the space ship had a map of Colorado’s forests,) I hitchhiked back to Park City. It took about three hours to get back. I thanked the guy who drove me and started sprinting to school. When I was running, I tripped on my shoelace and my face landed in some mud. I had to make a detour to the nearest bathroom to wash it off. I started running again when I got attacked by pirates again! Those dang pirates! I had an intense battle with them and then kept running to school. When I finally got to school, the bell had already rung, and that is why I’m late. True story.
