I woke up to the sight of burning buildings. The flames towered over us, big and bright. Car alarms went off and filled my ears. Coming from around the buildings were burning people with lost limbs, pale, cracked skin, and bulging eyes.  Blood was dripping down from their bodies and their clothing was torn and falling apart. They walked slowly towards me unable to bend their legs and walk like a human. Their arms stuck out looking like they are about to grab me. Although the creatures were slow, time seemed to speed up and they were approaching me faster than I would think. I was alone and I couldn’t see any part of me when I looked down all I could see was my black shadow. I didn’t know how to escape this zombie apocalypse. “Wake up” I thought to myself in fear, as the zombies surrounded me. I wanted to get up and escape this nightmare.

I was experimenting with point of view and description by using descriptive words to describe what I was seeing. I like the part where I describe the zombies.
