University of Alaska Fairbanks MAG
Fairbanks,AK: Recently I visited the University of Alaska Fairbanks and learned that UAFhas courses for just about any major you can think of. They offer courses inJournalism, Carpentry, Animal Science, Alaska Native Studies, Computers andElectronics - you name it, they've probably got it!
Although I did notfind the food that great, there were plenty of places college students can go tojust hang out with friends, exercise or even just to sit and study. There is alarge library, and a multi-purpose center for anyone who needs to study, or talk.
The surrounding community of Fairbanks, Alaska is a simple, easy-goingcity that is not too large but has plenty to offer to prevent a UAF student fromgetting bored.
