Author's note:

This short story is comedy and funny based element theme. I got inspired by the graphic novel called "sisters."

My name is Briana and I am 12 years old. I live on a street called Summerbridge. I live with my family. I have one younger sister and her name is Vanessa, and she is 10 years old. She likes the color blue, and I am obsessed with the color pink, especially mixing with yellow! Our parents are often busy from their work, so most of the time, Vanessa and I stay home and play together.

We always do role play together. Vanessa loves acting as Karen. Yes you heard me the word K-a-r-e-n: a woman that is obnoxious, super dramatic, and always furious like a red balloon that’s about to explode. This always makes me laugh from how Karen reacts to things; it’s just hilarious. Vanessa is a naughty, spoiled little sister, and I am a worshipful and supportive sister– like I get obsessed easily.

We have two pets; one fluffy white puppy named Lappy and a bunny named Chester. It is 11 a.m in the morning. I went to Vanessa’s room and asked her if she was bored.

“Hey Vanessa. Wanna do role play together?” Asked Briana.

“Yeah let’s do it. I got some very new fun ideas!” Vanessa gleefulness spoke.

“YAY! I am so excited, AAAAAAAaaaaaa,” Briana cheerfully screamed.

“Ok. So it’s just like before. I am going to be Karen that randomly came to live in your house for two days and acted very dramatic in your house,” said Vanessa.

“Alright sounds good. Let’s start!” Briana commented.

“Dingdong! Oh-my-god! It’s Karen. That woman is back!” Briana surprisingly spoke.

“Alright I am coming. I am coming,” said Briana. I opened the door and saw a scary looking aggressive woman standing outside.

“OH-MY-GOD! How did that take you so long? My house has some problems so I am staying in your house for a few days,” said Karen (Vanessa).

“Woo-woo-woo. Hold on wait, KAREN you can’t just come in like that!” said Briana as Karen just went pass her front door before Briana hadn't opened her mouth yet.

“Karen! Take your shoes off right now!” Briana yelled.

“Ughhhh. What is this? A five star hotel?” Karen (Vanessa) questioned with grumbles and threw her shoes on the floor.

“Karen, do you want some water?” asked Briana.

“Um-yeah. Obviously,” answered Karen (Vanessa).

“Here you go,” said Briana.

“Peeeeewww. It’s too cold and why are there so many ice cubes in the water?" Karen (Vanessa) questioned, she threw up the water from her mouth on the table, and pushed away the cup. Briana dumped away the ice in the cup and filled up the cup with new water.

“Karen do not throw up water on my table. Ughh this woman is so judgy. Here is a new one,” said Briana while over there whispering and complaining.

“Ughh. It’s still too cold,” said Karen (Vanessa).

“WHAT! Oh-my-god,” Briana spoke anxiously. She filled up warm water in the cup and handed it to Karen.

“AAAAAA, it’s too hot!” Karen (Vanessa) screamed.

“Then what do you want?” Briana questioned. She seemed about to give up.

“You could’ve just mixed half cold water and half warm water in the cup!” Answered Karen (Vanessa).

“Oh-my-god. Why didn’t you just tell me in the beginning? Here, why don’t you do it yourself?” asked Briana. Karen went to the refrigerator and clicked on the button.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAA,” Karen (Vanessa) screamed.

“What? It’s just a refrigerator. Chill,” Briana laughed.

“Oh, I didn’t know that a refrigerator can provide water and ice cubes. Wow, what a modern period. So scientific and inconceivable!” Karen surprisingly spoke and seemed shocked.

“Um, yeah it’s normal, do you want some snacks?” asked Briana. She showed where the snacks were.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!” Karen (Vanessa) screamed. She opened the pantry and saw a lot of snacks, and in the blink of an eye her body was dizzy and disoriented on the ground due to her ecstatic…

“Oh-my-god-Karen! Are you okay?” Asked Briana. They paused, stopped acting, and took a little break from conversation.

“Ok, Vanessa I think we can stop right there. The next part I think we can do is Karen went to the hospital after she was overwhelmed looking at a pantry filled with food,” said Briana.

“That’s a great idea because we have medical supply toys and we can use my bed for me to lay down,” said Vanessa.

“Hahahaha. Can’t you imagine when a person saw a pantry of snacks and was overwhelmed,” Vanessa laughed. After taking a short break, they start role playing again.

Karen took a pretty bad fall, she is now in the hospital. Hopefully she is feeling better soon.

“Beep-beep,” the heart monitor rang, while Karen (Vanessa) lay on the bed unconscious sleeping.

“Oh hi Karen,” said Briana as she saw her eyes open and staring at Briana.

“Ahh! What are you doing?” Karen questioned.

“You are in the hospital. Calm down, calm down. You took quite the tumble. Be okay. You got a cast on your leg just to prevent some injuries,"answered Briana.

“WHAT IS THIS? Ahh?” Karen said surprisingly.

“Oh oh it’s-it’s an IV,” said Briana. Karen threw that away.

“It’s helping you. It’s helping you. Don’t hurt yourself,” said Briana. Karen started running and screaming.

“KAREN! You can’t walk. You will break your leg!” Briana yelled.

“OH-MY-GOD! AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaa,” Karen (Vanessa) screamed.

“You can’t get up Karen,” said Briana.

“AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaa,” Karen (Vanessa) screamed and sounded very fierce.

“You cannot get up. Do you need some help here, Karen?” said Briana.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-hahaheaaaa,” Karen (Vanessa) screamed and sounded about to cry.

“Umm, Karen, your heart monitor is going crazy. You have to calm down!” said Briana.

“I DON’T WANT ANYTHING AND I AM GOING TO SUE YOUUUU!”

Karen (Vanessa) screamed with a frightened looking face. Her face gave Briana strike terror into the heart of in-fear-and-trembling. Later, they stopped role playing and admired how well this role play was.

“Ahahahahahahaha. That was hilarious!” Vanessa and Briana laughed.

“I think we did pretty good. That was amazing and wonderful!” said Briana with a convivial mood and excitement. They looked very ebullient. Such an elated day!
