The Childlike mask, weathered and torn, represents children who lost their childhood to abuse. The left side is dark and forgotten, containing everything they were entitled to as a child. The right is what replaced their security, all for the monster who stole it. Victims of child abuse are forced to leave innocence behind and grow up before their time.

Your use of symbolism is amazing. The simple use of color also creates a great contrast that makes for a wonderful peice.
