and disappear into a vortex
of yourself
a black hole
of sadness and darkness
of emptiness and hopelessness
the end
but then
someone cared
maybe it was a smile
a hug
they listened
whatever it was
someone noticed
noticed you
if you remember
being saved
from yourself
from everything
be there when you see someone
like you
someone who needs someone
who needs you
you could be that person
to save a life
to be the reason they stayed alive
